Good morning! Today we're back to you with another portion of knowledge about the plastics from which eco-friendly "disposables" are made. After sugar cane, palm leaves, wheat bran, bamboo and paper, it's time for one of the more controversial topics - cornmeal. This product has a great deal to do with gastronomy. On the one hand, it is useful to us in the kitchen - among other things, when cooking soups or sauces. But on the other, the less obvious one, on the basis of cornmeal a plastic-like material is created, expressed by the abbreviation "PLA". We'll bite today's topic mainly from the side of "disposables" made precisely from this material. Check out the post for more information!
Guide
Hey-ho! There are certainly more reasons to live in harmony with nature than the five title ones. We present those that also benefit ourselves - our health and, especially important these days, our pockets. We will already traditionally tell ourselves about packaging (and its ecological versions), saving water or electricity. Unfortunately, it's often the case that while doing even the most mundane things, we won't think about the fact that a small adjustment in our habits can save us a significant amount of money (in the long run, of course), and in the process we'll begin to have a positive impact on our environment....
Today we will stay in the climate of "Zero Waste" and taking care of our environment. We'll explain why it's the last call to start changing bad habits, we'll shed some light on the consequences these habits entail and, finally, we'll cite disturbing statistics on the amount of garbage produced in the average Polish household. We wouldn't be ourselves if we didn't suggest to you how we can collectively take care of the environment and, consequently, the well-being of each of us. In the article you will find eco-friendly products with which we can replace plastic disposables, but also suggestions for habits that are worth changing. You are welcome!
Hello! Three weeks ago we wrote about palm leaf products. This time we will explore another, equally interesting topic - dishes made of wheat bran. Among other things, you will find out why we can confidently consider these edible plates or bowls as our little national pride. We invite you to join us! :)
