The ecological calendar is not just a collection of dates, but above all a reminder that concern for the environment should be present in our daily lives. Among the numerous ecological holidays we can find days dedicated to protecting forests, fighting pollution or promoting renewable energy sources. Each of these occasions is the perfect moment to reflect and take action for the planet - from small changes in daily habits to active involvement in environmental initiatives. Let's find out which dates are worth marking on the calendar and how we can use them to make a real impact on the Earth's future.

Hey! In the previous "episode" we explained what climate change is and its causes. We pointed out areas of our daily functioning where, through our bad habits, often unknowingly, we contribute, to put it bluntly, to harming our environment. We believe very strongly that positive change starts with the individual, so today we will talk more broadly about what we can do to help the environment (and ourselves, by the way, since introducing these habits is good for our health as well) move in the right direction. We invite you to read on!

Good morning! A week ago we wrote about climate change in Europe, but we came to the conclusion that we haven't really explored the topic enough. Therefore, today we will try to exhaust some issues. We will tell ourselves what this climate change is, what are its causes, what are the effects of global warming and, most importantly, how to inhibit the processes that threaten us with potential climate disasters in the future. In this post, we will point out the areas of our daily functioning where we have the widest scope to change bad habits for the better, and consequently ensure a "better tomorrow" for our children. You are welcome!

Climate change is becoming an increasingly pressing issue around the world. We are feeling the effects of these changes more clearly, with rising average temperatures, floods, droughts and extreme heat waves. The problem with plastic waste in the oceans is further exacerbating the climate crisis. These changes have serious consequences for agriculture, ecosystems and biodiversity. More and more people are beginning to recognize their impact on daily life and are considering what are the major climate challenges we face. It's worth taking action, changing habits, saving energy and choosing products with the environment in mind (we'll cover these issues in today's post). It's not just an obligation, it's our future.
Good morning! Today we're back to you with another portion of knowledge about the plastics from which eco-friendly "disposables" are made. After sugar cane, palm leaves, wheat bran, bamboo and paper, it's time for one of the more controversial topics - cornmeal. This product has a great deal to do with gastronomy. On the one hand, it is useful to us in the kitchen - among other things, when cooking soups or sauces. But on the other, the less obvious one, on the basis of cornmeal a plastic-like material is created, expressed by the abbreviation "PLA". We'll bite today's topic mainly from the side of "disposables" made precisely from this material. Check out the post for more information!
A warm welcome! Fortunately, long gone are the days when people who care about the environment, urge others to do so and try to instill habits that are healthy for the planet were often looked upon in a strange way. We are certainly on the right track, environmental awareness in society is growing, but it will certainly be a long time until living in harmony with nature is the norm for us. Today's post is dedicated to the aforementioned environmental awareness. We will tell you what the term means, how such awareness is formed in society, and point out ecological alternatives in various fields. We invite you to read! :)
Today's post is entirely devoted to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the benefits this approach can bring to companies and society. CSR is a strategy that takes into account social interests, relations with various stakeholder groups and, most importantly for us, environmental protection. In addition to discussing the idea for ourselves - what it is, what benefits it brings - we will also present three examples of CSR activities - supporting the local community, taking pro-environmental actions and implementing social campaigns. Good morning! What do industrial development, our habit of convenience or even the current economic situation in the country and the world have in common? All these more or less, directly or indirectly, have an impact on the amount of pollution in the air. It is precisely this topic that we will touch upon today. It will be briefly about what such pollution generates, what effect it has on our health and what diseases we may face because of it. At the very end, we will suggest what is crucial to minimize our negative impact on the environment. We invite you to read more! :)
Hey, hey, hey! Temperatures have recently jumped to +20 degrees, and this has made our linen shirts jump out of the closets. This, in turn, inspired us to prepare a blog, in which, among other things, we will touch on the topic of clothing made of natural materials. The title "fashion" here has a double meaning - concerning clothing trends, but also as a "fashion" for being eco. The topic of clothing is not our "horse", although we will interject our "three cents" here as well. However, we will focus mainly on the concepts of "upcycling" and "less waste", which are closely related to "living in harmony with nature". Interested? Feel free to read on! :)
Good morning! The concepts of "composting" or "composter" do not need to be explained to anyone. Some of you who spent vacations with your grandparents probably even had direct contact with this method of "disposal" of bio-waste. Times have changed a lot, however, and now we don't need a set aside corner in the garden to prepare compost. Now even residents of blocks of flats have ample opportunities to "produce" such fertilizer, which can ultimately be used to improve the quality of the soil. Today's entry is entirely devoted to composting - we will discuss the topic, touch on technical issues of preparation and present the advantages of this solution. You are welcome!
Welcome! Today, a few words about BIO certification - a mark that is placed on food products, cleaning products or cosmetics, among others. Can any manufacturer, who considers his product safe for the environment, put this mark on his product? What is the process of obtaining such a certificate? How much does it cost? How do you go about it? These questions will be answered in today's post. You are welcome!
Hey! In today's post, we will introduce you to 10 steps that each of us can "put in place" to improve the condition of our planet. We'll remind you of such basics as saving water and remembering to turn off the lights or TV/computer, but we'll surprise you with a few solutions! We will suggest how to deal with bio waste, what is the best way to go shopping with, or how to deal with excess food in our refrigerator. We invite you :)
